BILD (British Institute of Learning Disabilities)
CPI has full accreditation by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) under their scheme. This is important in ensuring that every facet of the Nonviolent Crisis InterventionSM training programme is fully compliant with the BILD Code of Practice for Trainers in the Use of Physical Interventions, in addition to the DoH/DfES Statutory Guidance on the Use of Restrictive Physical Intervention. We are especially proud of this prestigious endorsement of the Nonviolent Crisis InterventionSM programme, as CPI achieved full accreditation at the first panel meeting utilising the complete process of the scheme operated by BILD in November 2002. This accreditation is particularly relevant for those responsible for training staff who support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or emotional behavioural difficulties. Confirmation of accreditation status can be found at www.bild.org.uk.
